Help Us To Support BEN
A team of runners will take part in this years HELL RUN through a tough course in Delemere Forest. The run is strictly off road and takes in a course over 10-12 grueling miles. This year we are supporting the Motor & Allied trades charity called BEN. Each year BEN helps over 15,000 people who are in need of help in one way or another. If you would like to sponsor our team, then please visit the secure website called JUST GIVING where you can pay with your credit card and help somebodys life run a little better. We know times are hard, but just a few pounds will help our charity considerably
Hospice of the Good Shepherd
The Hospice exists to provide highly specialised palliative care for people living with advanced diseases from the communities of Chester, Deeside, Ellesmere port and Rural Cheshire. The services are provided free of charge to anyone in medical need. These include Medical, Nursing, Social, Emotional and Spiritual support for Patients and their families. The running costs are over £6,000 each day and they rely heavily on the community they serve. They run a weekly lottery which only costs £1 per week, you could win £2000! Lindop's Help With The Greenbox
The worlds richest corporations spend millions of pounds a year to help solve the problems of carbon emissions, but in association with Lindop Toyota, three local fishing pals have developed a "Greenbox" which they say can reduce carbon emissions from cars by between 85% to 95%. The trials were carried out on vehicles supplied by Lindop Toyota. The Greenbox is currently fitted to a major supermarkets fleet of delivery vehicles, on long term test.
