Air Conditioning Service
Most modern vehicles have air conditioning fitted as standard, but a lot of people think it is just for warm days. That couldn't be further from the truth. Air Conditioning can and should be used all year round. In summer it is used to cool the interior of your car, and makes for more relaxed driving, letting you arrive at your destination feeling cool and relaxed. Air conditioning comes into it's own in Winter too! As soon as you swith on your Air Conditioning, the cool damp air inside the car is recirculated and "Dried" to remove the moisture, this air is then fed back into the cabin, and you will see that the windscreen and side glass start to clear of moisture. You can also turn up the temperature inside the car, so you have warm Air Conditioned air coming in, keeping your windscreen and side glass free of moisture.

The Air Conditioning on your car should be maintained just like the engine. It needs to be used on a regular basis, so that the oil inside the Air Con Compressor is pumped around the system keeping all the internal componants lubricated, so that the gas does not escape. It is recommended that you have your Air Conditioning checked every two years, this means removing the existing gas, recycling it, replacing the oil, and finally returning the gas, making sure it is fully topped up. During this service, we would recommend changing the cabin pollen filter, which filters out tiny particulates from the air, and also using a sanitiser inside the car, to clear away any bacteria which hides inside the ventilation hose under the dashboard.
